Visionary leader Talent enabler Change maker

Fraser’s personal motto is “Making others more,” and it’s the reason he wrote Achievable.

Fraser knows from experience what it takes to be a leader who inspires and motivates people in a sector that is heavily regulated, overscrutinized, underfunded, and chastised by the media.

Both at OMNI Health Care and at Chartwell Retirement Residences’ long-term care platform, Fraser inspired his people to rise above their daily demands and challenges; engaged, enabled, and empowered them to live into their potential; and demonstrated what’s possible.

Fraser was owner and CEO of OMNI Health Care, which had sixteen long-term care homes and 1,500 employees. He sold it in 2007 to a private equity firm impressed by its culture, brand, and financial performance. In 2017, Fraser joined Chartwell Retirement Residences as vice president of long-term care operations, where he was responsible for twenty-seven homes and five thousand employees. Under his leadership, his platform won awards within the company and the sector. His team also accomplished a 15 percent increase in residents’ “very satisfied” score and a 7.5 percent increase in employees’ “very engaged” score in two years. In his second year with Chartwell, Fraser was awarded Executive of the Year.

Fraser served on the board of directors of the Ontario Long Term Care Association for more than fifteen years and has been its chair. Today, he speaks at conferences to businesses and their leaders about creating a culture of possibility and potential based on the strategies laid out in Achievable.
